What data do we use?
To make DOWN? work, we process your account data (such as your name, email address, profile photo and date of birth), your selected activities, connections, chats and plans. If you choose to grant permission, we also process your contacts to help you find friends, your photos to upload a profile or memory photo, and your notification preferences to deliver notifications.
Why do we use this data?
We use it to manage your account, connect you with friends, enable matches, plans and conversations, save memories, send messages and relevant activity notifications, and improve the safety and operation of the app.
Contacts and photos
Access to your contacts and photos is optional. DOWN? only requests it when you use that feature. You can revoke permission at any time in your iPhone Settings.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep your data while your account is active or for as long as necessary to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete your account and associated data according to our deletion process, except where a legal retention obligation applies.
Do we share data?
We do not sell your personal data or show ads. We only share data where needed to make DOWN? work technically, for example with service providers for account authentication, cloud storage or push notifications. They may use this data only to provide those services.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data. You can also object to certain processing. Email info@naloudigital.com and we will help you.
Changes
When this privacy policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will notify you in the app or by email for important changes.
